What is Personal Group Training?
Primal Fit Miami has not only chosen the Group Training format to increase the affordability to our customers but over the years training in this manner we have seen an overwhelming dedication and commitment that isn’t traditionally seen in the one-on-one setting. With two Certified Fitness Coaches overseeing 2-8 people we are able to give individualized attention in a small group setting. There is also a refreshing and positive sense of competition found in the group-training format that is obviously missing from one on one fitness and this helps drive everyone to achieve more. We incorporate a Fitness System proven to increase commitment, a healthy competition amongst friends and peers, and a BIG dose of accountability that can only lead to some serious RESULTS.
What is Primal Fitness?
According to the dictionary the word Primal means original or of first importance. Primal Fit Miami’s philosophy is to get away from the technologically driven machine based fitness industry and get back to the ORIGINAL and most IMPORTANT Primal Movement Patterns such as the squat, bend, lunge, push, pull, twist, and gait (walking, jogging, sprinting).
Primal Movement Patterns are used in our everyday lives, at work, and in all the sports we play. They are the foundation for most movements we perform. These 7 Primal Pattern Movements were necessary for our ancestors to survive. Prior to modern times, anyone who could not perform these patterns would have a limited chance of surviving in the wild.
Primal Fit Miamihas created the ultimate training environment that takes the best of all training methods and puts them into a truly comprehensive routine that is specific to sport and everyday living. This is PRIMAL, FUNCTIONAL, MOVEMENT based fitness using traditional tools such as your bodyweight and Dumbbells to non-traditional tools like Kettlebells, Ropes, Sleds, Tires and monkey bars.

Are you a Cross Fit or Boot Camp?
No. PFM is a structured, progressive Strength and Conditioning system that keeps you standing and moving. We are NOT Crossfit affiliated nor are we a body building or machine based program. We believe that each of us is an athlete in one way or another and you will be trained like one. Using your body weight and cutting edge tools and techniques we will PREVENT injury, get you in the best shape of your life all while helping you move better, feel better and look better!
Tell me about your coaches?
Our coaches have over 30 yrs. of in the trench’s hands on experience and are passion for learning never stops. We want you to know that the field of exercise science changes rapidly unfortunately it’s mostly for the worst. It is for this reason that we have stayed clear of much of the latest exercise technology and popular fads that are commonly present in the media and the majority of larger fitness establishments. PFM coaches are a “new school” breed that takes an “old school” PRIMITIVE approach… We believe in working hard, but smart. We believe in being strong but mobile. Can I try a workout for Free?
Sorry but there are no free workouts. You can although come watch a LIVE group in action if you’d like. Just call and let us know that you’re coming!
Can I come in and workout whenever I’d like?
No, sorry. PFM is a Private facility that is only open during the scheduled small group sessions or by appt only.
Do I have to change my diet?
Seriously? How’s your diet working for you now?
How can a Fitness Coach Help me?
Hiring a Fitness Coach provides many benefits the biggest being accountability. We also provide a structured safe training environment that ensures proper exercises are done correctly with the right intensity, load, volume and rest period. Simply put, you won’t be guessing or flying by the seat of your pants anymore. Results are proven at PFM, all you need to do is show up!
How long is a typical workout?
All workout sessions last 60min
I’m a novice, can you still help me?
Absolutely! Because we keep the groups to no more than 8 people max with 2 Coaches we are able to scale and modify workouts based on exercise level and health history. We never over-work a novice client and at the same time we will not UNDER-work an advanced.
Can you help me if I have an injury?
This depends on the severity of the injury but many of our clients have ailments that we are either able to fix or work around.
How much does it cost?
The prices are dependent on length of commitment (3,6 or 12mo) and training sessions(2,3 or 4) per week but we have programs starting as LOW as $40 per session!
