Coach Mark Arrazola

DSC00235Ever since I picked up a barbell I have loved fitness and the positive effects it has not only on the body, but on the mind as well. As an ISSA-certified personal trainer, my goal is to teach people the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle in an effort to improve their quality of life as well as giving them a rewarding experience that they can share with others.

My confidence and determination to reach my goals is a direct attribute that I obtained from my family. They are very supportive of my goals and dreams and I would not be where I am today without their love and support.

I believe that without a purpose in life, there is no reason to exist. I believe that I have found my purpose in the health and fitness industry and I hope to carry on a long and fulfilling career. Here at Primal Fit Miami, we are not trainers, but coaches dedicated to changing lives and I am proud to be part of something so special.

When it is all said and done and the dust clears, I hope to leave behind a legacy and footprints for others so they may learn and grow. To help others to become the strongest versions of themselves in an effort to lead a healthy, but most importantly, a happy life is what all should hope to achieve.

Coach Kat

DSC00234Hi I’m Kat, I’ve been a Primal Fit Family member for over four (4) years. I wandered into Matt Packs gym Primal fit, a broken, injured and exhausted triathlete/marathoner. I was over trained, suffering from injury after injury and disappointed at never excelling in any of my disciplines. Matt listened to me whine and cry about my frustrations. Matt responded in all seriousness by saying he could get me back in shape and restore my broken body in one hour, three days a week. I remember thinking “yea right…..” I train 5 days a week, 3-4 hours a day and in one hour three times a week you will make me stronger???? Matt then looked at me and said “Kathryn what do you have to loose?” “I will free up your time, give you more time to spend with your kids and will have you moving better and feeling stronger.” Me being the competitive person that I am took him up on his challenge and it’s been a successful pairing with rewarding results ever since.
I am happy to say I do feel better, in fact I feel GREAT!!!! My mobility and flexibility has been restored and I am in better shape now than I was in my twenties, thirties and yes…. forties. I train smarter, eat better and yes I do have more time for my family!
Matt Pack took me into his Primal Family as a client and I have evolved into a Primal Fit trainer, sharing Matt Packs love for greater flexibility, mobility, strength and the simple fact that you can accomplish anything.
My qualifications include countless Sprint, international and Half Ironman distance races, Half Marathons, Full Marathons and Adventure/Obstacle racing. I am a Certified Spinning Instructor, Level One and Two Animal Flow Coach. I am certified in Kihara Stretch and Strength Therapy and I am currently in the process of obtaining my National Academy of Sports Medicine N.A.S.M. certification.
I love the thrill of crossing a finish line, obtaining a goal, pushing myself past the point others thought I would fail. I thrive on working hard, eating right and staying strong… I keep words like “no and I can’t” out of my vocabulary and I want to help keep them out of yours.

Coach Jamie Spencer

DSC00233I have been involved in the healthcare field as a License Practical Nurse and as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant specializing in geriatric care. My dedication for helping the elderly recover or maintain their optimal level of living and my passion for fitness has motivated me to become a NASM certified personal trainer. I have been under the tutelage of Matt Pack for the last six months learning a holistic approach into achieving total health and fitness. Through my internship with Primal Fit, I have learned the key factors to achieve your goal are desire, dedication, and determination. These are the very same principles I will implement with my clients to achieve their fitness goals.

Jonerik Murphy – Director of Tweenfit

Jonerik Murphy created JEMKIDS to empower youth to build healthier, stronger bodies. As a lifelong athlete, his
philosophy is: “Being active is the key to being healthy.” Jonerik’s experience includes being a college baseball
player, 15+ years as a high school football/softball coach as well as more than 20 years in the fitness industry.
His passion for working with youth led him to become certified with the International Youth Conditioning
Association (IYCA) as a Level 2 Youth Fitness Specialist.
Jonerik utilizes all of his experience to develop programs that are age-appropriate for the developmental stages
children pass through as they mature. The programs are designed to improve motor skills, enhance
coordination, strengthen postural as well as core muscles and more. The activities are fun and challenging which
engage the children mentally as well as physically. While creating challenging programs is important,
understanding that not all children learn in the same way is more important.
Youth fitness is not about creating better athletes. It is about children developing positive, healthy habits that
have benefits from physical (stronger, healthier) to mental (higher self-esteem). Creating a healthy lifestyle starts
early. It is our responsibility to give our youth the tools they need to be successful.
